Eddie Alexander From Australia's "Midnight Special"

"Built In Conjunction With HondaXRM.net and Zirc Moto Parts."

I was super excited when I was contacted by Eddie via e-mail saying that he was here in the Philippines and was interested in buying a Honda XRM to take back home to Australia and could I point him in the right direction. Excited for a few reasons, one being the fact that this is proof that www.hondaxrm.net is making a real presence on the internet now, and another, here was a real opportunity to help out a fellow Australian and show another part of the world what we can do with our awesome little underbones.

When Eddie first contacted me he was still in Cagayan De Oro with his wife and baby and was expecting to be here in Manila near the end of January. After a few phone calls and emails he decided to wait until he got to Manila before he bought his bike so I could help him out with modifications etc. before he shipped it back home.

I made arrangements with the super helpful guys at Motortrade Darangan, Rizal to have available a selection of Honda XRMs to choose from when Eddie arrived as at that time Eddie was still unsure of what colour he was wanting. Given the fact that we had to complete mods etc in only a few days, a custom paint job wasn't an option at this point. The guys at Motortrade didn't let us down and Eddie settled for this brand new Beautiful Black XRM with only 1km showing on the clock.

Our next step was to talk with my friends Mark and Joel at Zirc Moto Parts here in Binangonan, Rizal to discuss options for the mods to Eddie's bike. As Eddie's bike is for use back home in Australia we had certain things to consider when modifying due to registration requirements and compliance etc. The decision was made to limit the mods to looks only, at least until it was already back in Australia and road registered. Design rules and registration requirements back home in Australia can be quite strict so we didn't want to cause any problems with the authorities there. It would be a shame to ship the bike all the way there only to find that we have gone too far with mods and wouldn't be able to register it.
